Market Continues Easier Trend
The market continued the easier trend the Stock Exchanges yesterday, with the New Zealand list showing 19 falls to 13 rises, although the overseas section improved.
The range of trading was wide, 87 issues changing hands, but turn-overs were light. Only slightly more than 12,700 shares were traded in Christchurch, against more
; than 20,000 each on Monday ; and Tuesday. Largest rises—of 9d each—i were by J. Rattray, to 14s 9d, i and the overseas, W. R. Car- > penter, to 18s 6d.
