LEASED TIME
Inquiries Delay (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 22. The Broadcasting Corporation had further inquiries to make before it could settle the matter of private companies leasing time on corporation stations, the chairman of the N.Z.B.C. (Mr C. A. MacFarlane) said today. “These have important policy implications, such as the current economic situation,” he said.
“Quite a number of things have changed since this proposition was first floated, but we will announce our decision as soon as we possibly can.
