The Israeli freighter, Deganya, and the United States Naval amphibious transport dock Lasalle collided tonight 30 miles off Cape Henry in the Atlantic, the Coast Guard said. The Israeli vessel suffered damage on the port side but was going to New York under its own power. The naval vessel reported slight damage. Neither ship requested assistance.
