INDIAN ENTRY FOR WORLD PLOUGHING
Advice hat been received that India will send two ploughmen to compete in the world
ploughing contest in the Prebbleton-Broadfield district on May 12 and 13. It will be the first time India has been represented. Thirty-two competitors from 18 countries have now entered. The president of the New Zealand Ploughing Association and chairman of the organising committee for the world contest, Mr E. A. E. - ing Association to the general secretary of the World Ploughing Organisation, Mr A Hall, uld there would be five in the Indian party indudFairhall, said that a copy of a letter from the secretary of the Indian National Plough- . ing a team manager and adviaer, and there would also be 10 fanners. The ploughmen and farmers would wear national rural costume. The overseas ploughmen coming to New-Zealand for the world match had also been invited to be the guests of the Indian ploughmen's organisation on the way home, said Mr FairfaalL
