Robin Dundee Well

"The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL. Mr J. W. Hewitt, owner of Robin Dundee, returned to his home at Mataura Island on Wednesday night, after spending a month in Australia watching his mare race.

Mr Hewitt said Robin Dundee would definitely race in the international series at Yonkers Raceway, New York, hi April. However, he had not accepted any American offers. "I have been pressed by several American interests but have not entered any agreements," he said. Mr Hewitt said Robin Dundee had come through her latest racing unmarked. "She had a medical examination in Sydney last Monday, which showed her heart count had increased and she was passed 100 per cent physically fit," he said. Robin Dundee will start in the Lady Brooks Cup in Melbourne on March 14, and will return to Sydney for the Lord Mayor’s Cup at Harold Park on March 31. If he is available the Wyndham reinsman, R. M. Cameron, will drive Robin Dundee in her other engagements this month. If he is not. D. J. Townley will handle the mare.

LONDON. Ths top jockey, A. Breaertey, had recovered from the injuries he suffered in a racetrack fan last August and would be ready to ride when the English Sat racing season started later this month, the "Evening News*’ reported yesterday. The report on the jockey’s fitness came from the British trainer and former leading jockey. Sir Gordon Richards, who returned to Britain recently from Barbadoes, in the Caribbean, where Breasley has a hoMdey home.
