Alcohol In Cooking

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, March 10*. Concern at what it called “the time given on television for displaying alcoholic beverages in cooking demonstrations,” was expressed by the national convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, in Napier today. Television had been made the media for definite propaganda, said the president (Mrs C. Toomef, of Nelson). The propaganda, she said, was harmful, wasteful and soul destroying.
