Church Camp At Woodend

The Canterbury Anglican camps and conferences committee will hold a renewal camp for high school and university students at Woodend from May 8 to May 15. The annual camp this year will have studies on renewal of the individual, the church, and the world. Speakers at the camp will include the Bishop Christchurch (Rt. Rev. W. A. Pyatt), the Rev. J. Kago, a Kenyan minister, the Rev. D. Balfour, and the camp chaplain (the Rev. C. Tonks). Practical studies on Sunday school teaching, running coffee clubs and group leadership will be taken by a Sunday school adviser (Mr ,J. Holder). A wide range of recreational activities will also be provided. Registration forms for the camp can be obtained from the Diocesan Education Office in Church House.
