£24m Subscribed To Govt. Loan

IT (New Zealand Press Association) ' WELLINGTON,March 10. -fitfifon had been subscribed to the £25 million internal Government cash loan, which closed on March 3, the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) said today.

Mr Muldoon said that some late subscriptions had yet to be processed. He said that although the target had not been achieved the amount was considered satisfactory In view of the tighter monetary conditions prevailing as a result of Government policy. With the success achieved in earlier cash and conversion loans, the Government’s internal loan programme for this financial year had been completed satisfactorily.
