SILVERMAN ATTACK

Rebuke By Manager (NX Press Assn.— Copyright) LONDON, March 8. The veteran Left-wing Labour Party member, Mr Sidney Silverman was today let off with a mild rebuke for his outspoken criticisms of Mr Wilson. Labour’s Parliamentary manager, Mr John Silkin, published a short letter claiming that Mr Silverman’s attack was not based on the facts. It gave no hint whether he risked expulsion from the party.

The 72-year-old Left-winger lashed 'Mr Wilson’s tough handling of Labour’s rebels in an open letter to Mr Silkin yesterday, and underlined his criticisms in a radio interview today.
