Assets To Be Sold
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Mar. 9. Petrous Industries, Ltd., Dunedin roofing tile and concrete products manufacturer, has decided to realise the assets of the company, the chairman (Mr R. J. Knowles) has announced. Efforts to dispose of the company as a going concern had not yet been successful, Mr Knowles said. At the end of the financial year on August 31 last year, the company had shown a net operating loss of £4174. The previous year the operating loss was £3725.
Issued ordinary capital was £45,000 and total shareholders’ funds were £33,318 last year.
