£279 Raised In Year

A record total of more than £279' raised by the Friends of the Hospital marked an outstanding year when work expanded continually, says the annual report The work of the society had ehanged over the years and now covered a much wider field.

More than £99 was given to the matrons of various hospitals and homes for use during the Christmas season, and members visited patients regularly.

Buses had beep hired for 18 outings for Sunnyside Hospital and Templeton Hospital and Training school.
