Nelson Eddy Collapses
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MIAMI BEACH, March 6. Nelson Eddy collapsed in the midst of his show at a Miami Beach hotel last night and was rushed to a hospital. A hospital spokesman said it was too soon to determine his condition or the nature of his ailment. The 65-year-old singer recently arrived back in the United States after nightclub appearances in Australia. He collapsed in the middle of his performance at Sans Soucie hotel.
