New Zealand Ploughing Title
Qualifying rounds for this year's New Zealand ploughing championships for the Atlantic Silver Plough will resume again early next month. Some were held late last year. The final will, of course, be held in conjunction with the world ploughing contest in the Prebbleton-
Broadfield district next May. The New Zealand final will be on May 11. Qualifying rounds in the circulation area of “The Press” will be held as follows: March 15: Marlborough Ploughing Association; March 18: Nelson Ploughing Match Association; April 5: Geraldine and Hinds Young Far-
mere’ Clubs; April 8: North Canterbury Young Farmers’ Club and Ploughing Match Association; April 11: Methven Young Farmers’ Club and Rakaia Ploughing Match Association; April 15: Waimate Young Farmers’ Club and Papakaio Ploughing Match Association.
