COOLING SEED.—In an accompanying article on this page the arrangements used for cooling grass seed on the property of Mr J. W. Crombie at Waitohi in South Canterbury are described. The photograph shows lateral timber ducts placed over an under-floor main duct and covered with strips of hessian to prevent seed entry under the laterals.
