The foundation was by the purchase of ewes from the late Thos. Reid F.B. 53 and ewes from the New Zealand and Australia Land Co., Ardgowan. Both ewes and rams have been exported to Australia on many occasions also North Island studs. Only top selected sires have been used. SUFFOLK This stud was founded by the late John D. Reid In 1954 by the purchase of ewes from A. C. Duval, South Australia. During the life of this stud there have been thre imported sires used which speaks for itself.
