Good Response To Loan
<N.Z. Press Association)/ WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. The Acting Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) announced today that £21.5 million had so far been subscribed to the Government’s current £2sm internal eash loan. “This is a very gratifying response,” he said. Mr Muldoon said that the loan closed on March 3, and reminded intending subscribers that they still had time to make applications. The rates of Interest range from S per cent for three years to 5} per cent for 16 years.
