900 Gns For Danny Molloy

Danny Molloy, a halfbrother to the Wellington Cup winner, Michael Molloy, was sold by auction at Te Rapa yesterday for 900 guineas. The buyer was Mr F. J. Pickup, of Hamilton. Danny Molloy, a gelding by Able Seaman from Fianna Fall, has won four hurdles races. He was sold on account of the estate of the late Mr H. P. Long. Mr Pickup was a client of the late Mr Long and the combination did well with the Great Northern winner, Nupla.
