Thefts From Cars
A transistor radio, valued at £3O was stolen from a car parked in Champion street between 12.45 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. yesterday, and on Wednesday night a radio and clothing worth £56 were stolen from a car parked in Rugby street, and tools valued at £4O were stolen from a car parked near the corner of Rugby street and Repton street. Clothing valued at £29 was stolen from a fiat in Kilmore street on Monday night. The Cashmere High School was entered on Wednesday night and £1 19s 6d was stolen. A flat in Lincoln road was entered yesterday and a wallet containing £l6 was stolen. The premises of Delphine Florists, 919 Colombo street, were broken into on Wednesday night and £lB stolen. A doctor’s rooms in Victoria Mansions, Victoria street, were also broken into on Wednesday night, and a cashbox containing £2 and a number of cheques was stolen.
