M.C.C. Victory Delayed

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) RAWALPINDI.

Bad fielding by the tourists and a sixth wicket stand of 83 by Massood-ul-Hasan and Iqbal Kashmiri, delayed the M.C.C. under-25 team’s expected win over the President’s XI yesterday. Starting the day 43 runs behind and with only five second wickets left, the President’s XI reached 177, leaving M.C.C. to get 55 for victory. The tourists won by eight wickets, their fourth in five games in Pakistan.
