SHOW RING PLOUGHED
Grass To Be Resown
The ring area at the Show Grounds has been ploughed in preparation for resowing. The Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association decided to have the work done because of the condition of the ring after last year’s show
Heavy machinery had caused the formation of a clay pan which prevented water getting away through the underground drainage. Officials hope that the new grass surface will be superior to the last.
