SCOTT BASE, Jan. 26.
A six-man New Zealand field party left Scott Base today to climb and carry out scientific investigations on Mount Erebus.
Nuclear fall-out, snow accumulation, geology, and entomology will be studied and the performance of a new snow vehicle tested in a weeklong project.
