(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Jan. 25. Compared with the first day of the sale, prices on the second day of the Napier wool sale today were firm for fleece wools but barely maintained for skirtings and lambs, says the official report of the Hawke’s Bay Woolbrokers’ Association. The offering was of 22,222 bales of greasy wool. The Continent was again the principle buyer, with a little more support from Japan. The Wool Comimssion was more active than on Monday and Bradford was relatively quiet. Total passings were approximately 49 per cent of which 48 per cent was passed to the commission.
