Church Full For Funeral

(N.Z. Press Association) WAIMATE, January 25. There was a packed congregation in Knox Presbyterian Church, Waimate, this afternoon for the funeral of Miss Gillian Margaret Thompson, aged 17, whose body was found in a pit on a farm after she had been missing since New Year’s Day. Church, civic, police and legal representatives headed by the Mayor (Mr A. J. McRae), the County Chairman (M- W. J. Fletcher), Detective Inspector M. T. Churches, and people from all walks of life were present.

B v request of the family there were no flowers.
