After being down by 10 runs after five innings, the Auckland bovs fought back to beat Canterbury 13-12, in the national secondary schoolchildren’s softball tournament at Wellington yesterday. Results: — Boys.—Hawke’s Bay 11, Southland 1; Auckland 13, Canterbury 12; Otago 11, Wellington 1; Hutt Valley 7, Southland 3; Canterbury 11, Wairarapa 1; Auckland 14, Waikato 7. Girls.—Auckland 7, Wellington 1; Southland 16, Waikato 15; Hutt Valley 7, Otago 0; Auckland 11, Canterbury 2.
