Mr Edwards And The Labour Party
Sir,—“Disillusioned Labourite” is wrong as I did not say that certain former National M.P.s received similar treatment to Mr Edwards’s as they were reprimanded at a secret meeting, while Mr Edwards has been given every opportunity to justify his actions. I, like many others, did not concur with the treatment of the National M.P.s, but our protests were in vain. Surely the correspondent does not call the secret meeting a trial? Mr O’Reilly was also dealt with at a secret meeting.—Yours, etc, DISILLUSIONED NATIONALIST. January 21, 1967.
