AUST. XV BEATEN

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) BRISTOL. The Australian Rugby team lost its last game in England on Saturday when Western Counties won 9-0. It was only the second time in the 26 matches of the tour that Australia failed to score any points. The Western Counties forward, D. Watt, dominated the line-outs.

Although none of the Western Counties backs scored, they often had Australia in trouble. Australia’s backs did not look like scoring and the star five-eighth, P. Hawthorne was trapped in possession more than usual.
