OPERATION STOPPED
Tobacco Farm At Te Teko (N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, Jan. 6. W. D. and H. O. Wills, Ltd., has ceased to work its experimental tobacco farm at Te Teko, 16 miles from Whakatane. A company official said today that the main reason was because the Tobacco Research Station, which operated the farm in conjunction with Wills, had decided more intensive research was required in the Motueka district and it should turn its efforts there. The Te Teko experiment lasted four of a projected five years.
