Veteran Archer Regains Title

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. The former champion, J. W. Hinchco (Auckland), made, a brilliant come-back to the top of New Zealand archery Whert he regained the field championship in the national tournament at Trentham yesterday.

Three years ago Hincho lost the top joint of his right index finger. Last year he finished well up in most events but his win yesterday confirmed that he has regained his old touch, especially at the field events. The former title-holder, B. Arnott, of Dunedin, turned on a great round in the Hunters championship to head Hincho by 15 points, but he was unable to catch the Aucklander, who went on to set a New Zealand record with a total of 1003 points.
