DANCE PAIR TITLE
Aust Skaters Defeated (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The precision in rhythm of the dance pairs provided the highlight last night at the Pacific amateur roller skating championships at the Epsom Showgrounds. In the Pacific and national dance pair championship A. Cameron and Miss Beverley Cooper (Auckland) gave a graceful display to defeat the Australian couple, J. Jessop and Miss C. Savage. Results were: Pacific and National Dance Pair Championship.—A. Cameron and Miss Beverly Cooper (Auckland) 1, J. Jessop and Miss C. Savage (Australia) 2, P. Cooper and Miss Jennifer Wright (Manawatu Showgrounds) 3.
