Pleasant Surprise

A member of the party of American travel agents touring New Zealand had a pleasant surprise yesterday when his nephew, who is serving a term of military service aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Mills, rang him from Dunedin. Mr M. L. Holloway, -of the American Automobile Association, received the call from Gary Renfroe,. aged 18, who then flew to Christchurch and went touring with his uncle and aunt. Mr Holloway said the call was completely unexpected, although he knew his nephew was aboard the United States destroyer. Mr Renfroe had learnt from a letter from his mother that his uncle was touring New Zealand.
