Sculpture Found

Gregory John Robertson, aged 18, was charged this afternoon with the theft of a piece of Rodin’s sculpture from the Launceston Queen Victoria Museum yesterday. The stolen sculpture, an eight-inch bronze torso of a nude woman, is part of the 360,000 dollars Stuyvesant collection which has been on show at the museum since December 15. The case was adjourned until January 23.

The missing piece was found on the bank of the river Tamar in the early hours of this morning by the chief of the Launceston C. 1.8., DetectiveInspector N. G. Cole.
