R.S.A. Anzac Delegation

Three Christchurch men, one from Ashburton and one from Blenheim, have been chosen to join a party of 50 New Zealand members of the Returned Services’ Association to visit Australia during the 1967 Anzac Day ceremonies.

Eighty applications were received to join the delegation. The five from Canterbury and Marlborough are:— Mr W. W. Wisheart (Blenheim), leader of the Queensland section; Mr McD. Lamb (Christchurch), leader of the New South Wales section; Mr R. Harvey (Ashburton), a member of the Tasmanian section; and Messrs T. Kirton and G. McMillan, both of Christchurch, who are included in the Western Australia section.
