MELBOURNE
Main activity on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday again centred in Consolidated Goldfields and the shares rose another five cents to 430. Gains in industrials were solid today and the margin of rises over falls widened. B.H.P. up 10 cents to 628, and H. Jones up 10 cents to 375. Base metals were firm with practically the whole list moving higher. In oils, Oil Search was active and gained 2 cents to 12.
