TENNIS ASSN. TO PROTEST
Play ers Going To N.Z. (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright/ MELBOURNE. The Australian Lawn Tennis Association will protest to the English and Netherlands tennis organisations over their players now touring Australia.
The Englishmen, M. Cox and G. Stilwell, and the Dutch girls, Misses B. Stove and L. Benneboer, will be reported for having allegedly broken the terms of the agreement under which the L.T.A.A. is defraying part of the cost of their tour of Australia.
The L.T.A.A. is upset because the players are not attending the Western Australian titles in Perth. They are visiting New Zealand instead.
The L.T.A..A claims that payment for the players was made on the understanding that they appeared in all state championships in Australia.
