SHELTERED WORKSHOP
More Space Next Year Because the Canterbury Sheltered Workshop Association would have larger premises when it reopened next year working conditions would improve, the secretary (Miss C. E. Robinson) said at the annual Christmas party yesterday. Miss Robinson said that extended premises would allow more work to be undertaken and more trainees could be catered for. She said that although there bad been more industrial work done at the workshop this year, there was still much more that could be done. Brian Streeter was commended for having the best attendance record for the year. He was present for all the 216 working days.
