Long Hair Long hair was not a problem in De La Salle College, the principal, Brother Michael said at the annual prize-giv-ing in Auckland. “I am pleased to be able to report,” he said, “at a time when the ability to grow long hair seems to be accepted as a sign of manliness, that the majority of boys have sufficient willpower and the courage of their convictions not to follow every new fad that appears.”
