Radio Hauraki Case r.V.Z. Press Association! AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. Costs amounting to 33 guineas were awarded to 11 members of Radio Hauraki by Mr L. G. H. Sinclair, S.M., today. The costs related to dismissed charges alleging wilful obstruction of a person with the powers of a marine inspector. Mr R. L. MacLaren appeared for five Radio Hauraki directors, Mr P. B. Temm appeared for six staff members, and Mr K. Palmer appeared for the Marine Department Mr Temm said that on charges against the directors of defying a detention order which had been dismissed, costs of £lO 10s each had been allowed. The Magistrate said he thought he would be doing justice if he allowed £3 3s on each of the informations.
