Cox Bros. Cut In Sales

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Dec. 8. Cox Bros. (Australia) (receiver and manager appointed) reported that its sales for the year to July 31 were 40,765,000 dollars compared with 42,432,000 dollars in the previous year. This was apart from sales of stores that were closed, 12,000 dollars (previously 1,054,000 dollars). . Cash and general monthly account sales showed a slight increase but sales to shareholders and to customers using short term and long term credit, were noticeably down.
