To Study In Switzerland
Mr W. A. Dove, a jeweller, employed in Riccarton, has been awarded a New Zealand Horological Institute scholarship to study watch repairing for a year in Switzerland. His return fare will be paid by the institute and his board will be paid for by the Watchmakers of Switzerland Federation and Ebauches S.A., a combination of watch manufacturers, who run a special school for watch repairers. Mr Dove will fly to Switzerland early next month.
