Mr T. E. Skinner, president of the Federation of Labour, will leave on Sunday for the Asian regional conference of thv International Confederation of Free Trades Unions, which is being held in Hong Kong from December 14 to 18. —(PA.) Mr L. P. Jamieson, resident engineer of the Ministry of Works at Nelson since 1955, will retire on December 15. He has been stationed at 20 places, among which are Kaikoura, Hope, Motueka, Nelson (twice) and Clarence.
