The New Zealand Racing Drivers’ Club will hold its annual reunion and annual meeting in Christchurch on Sunday, January 22, the day after the Lady Wigram Trophy Race meeting. # * * It has been confirmed that Jim Palmer will drive a V 6 Ferrari in the Tasman championship races this year. The car will be the 2.4 litre model which Lorenzo Bandini drove into second place in the Monaco G.P. last May. It is still not known what type of engine Jim Clark will use in his Lotus, the choice lying among a B.R.M. unit, a Repco unit, or a Coventry Climax. * * # Membership of the New Zealand Racing Drivers’ Club is now 260.
