“No-one can give you an education that will last you for life, just as no-one can give you a meal to last for life,” the Rev. W. S. Dawson, minister of Durham Methodist Church, told those attending the Avonside Girls* High senior prize-giving ceremony last night Acquired at school was a framework, basis of knowledge on which to build.
