WELLINGTON, Nov. 18.

The president of the Government Superannuitants’ Association (Mr J. Kenward) said today the association welcomed the Prime Minister’s statement that the Government would reopen discussions on the adjustment of superannuation allowances. He said he felt bound to point out, however, that a similar promise had been made before the 1963 election, coupled with most sympathetic assurances from the Minister of Finance.
