Inconsiderate Drivers

Sir,—The flooded city streets were difficult enough to cross for mothers with children and prams; also for slow-travelling older citizens. Some motorists, when the rain eased, went full speed ahead and looked like jet boats, sending spray across the street on both sides. A title slowing down could have avoided much inconvenience and unnecessary extra wetting for pedestrians. Do motorists of this type ever think of others?—Yours, etc.. REMINDER. November 21, 1966.
