Fell 25ft

While disconnecting the power supply at the top of a pole at the Addington Show Grounds on Saturday morning a man got caught up in the power lines and threw himself to the ground. He is Thomas Farrell, aged 32, a workman, employed by the Municipal Electricity Department. Mr Farrell was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. He got into difficulties when disconnecting the power to a stall about 7.15 a.m.
