Staff Trained For Change

The staff of the branches of the Bank of New South Wales in Christchurch this week had their first training in preparation for the change to decimal currency. A senior bank officer, Mr P. K. Creighton, who has made a special study of change procedure, has lectured staff at all branches. The staff will undertake an intensive course on the new currency a few weeks before the change. A bank spokesman said that staff would have the Information fresher in their minds if they were instructed close to the actual change period in July.
