4 Old Nazis’ Chanted
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) MUNICH, November 11. An election rally of West Germany’s extreme Right-wing National Democratic Party broke up in brawling at a huge beer hall last night when some party supporters attempted to throw hecklers out of the hall. About 30 young people and students were dragged out ano brawling ended only after police were called in. The students often interrupted the speeches of the party leaders, among them the chairman, Fritiz Thielen, chanting “Old Nazis.” The meeting was held in support of candidates of the National Democratic Party (N.P.D.) for the Bavarian State elections on November 20.
Last Sunday the N.P.D. wot eight seats and attracted nearly 8 per cent of the poll in the Hesse State elections.
Viet Cong Use Gas.—An American ambush patrol was attacked with Viet Cong gas [grenades yesterday, a Ist Infantry Division spokesman paid. It was the first reported Lse of gas by the Viet Cong in the Vietnam war.—Saigon, (November 11.
