To Produce Airtrucks

f.V.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 6. Sir Andrew McKee, chairman of N.A.C., and vice-chair-man of Air New Zealand, has become head of the newlyfloated firm of Commercial Aircraft, Ltd., which intends to produce in quantity at Ardmore the egg-shaped Airtruck. Two of these aircraft, said to be the answer to many of the problems facing top dressing operators in New Zealand, have been designed and built in a small workshop at Te Kuiti. Sir Andrew McKee believed the Airtrucks to have a great export potential.

“We have already had many inquiries to this effect from all parts of the world,” he said. The Airtruck is the first commercial aircraft developed . in New Zealand.
