SABOTAGE REPORT
Warning By Thailand (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BANGKOK, Nov. 6. Thailand has alerted the United States military authorities that armed Communists are preparing to sabotage American military camps and air bases in north-east Thailand and at the Utapao air base, 105 miles south of Bangkok, Interior Ministry sources said today. Official reports reaching the Ministry said the Communist leader, Yod Phatisawod, was in north-east Thailand organising Communist cells and a terror campaign against local officials. President Johnson landed at Utapao base when he visited Bangkok on his recent Asian tour.
Sentenced For Obscenity.— The Italian actress, Gina Lollobrigida, and the French actor, Jean Sorel, have been given suspended two-month sentences in Viterbo for obscenity in their roles in the film “Le Bamboule.” —Rome, November 6.
