AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY WOOL RESEARCH IN DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably qualified persons for two appointments supported by funds from the Wool Research Trust Fund: WOOL BOARD FELLOW Applicants are expected to hold a Ph D. degree or to have had considerable research exoerlence. Appointment will be for one year in the first instance, but may be renewed for subsequent periods of one year by arrangement. Salary is in the range 4800-8300 dollars per annum Australian currency with payment of an economy class air fare to Canberra. Bradbury, continuing work already in progress on the chemistry of wool. Methods have been developed for the separation and amino acid analysis of the histological compounds of keratin fibres. This work will be continued to lower levels of structure in an attempt to locate the site in the fibre of the various protein components.
